Our professionally trained staff have been carefully selected. You don't just let anyone in your front door, and we wouldn't either. Our staff are screened and bonded, giving you peace of mind and a clean home!


"Anyone can clean" is what we sometimes hear, and while it is partially true, having a professionally trained cleaner is:



How many tubs do you clean? Well, we do a lot more than that. We have the products, know-how and even some tricks that mean that it's done right.



We notice little things and take care of them before they become a noticeable area of concern. We try to do a detail each clean that helps you stay ahead of the dirt.


Cleaning Products

We use a number of tried an true cleaning products. We care about the safety of ourselves and your family and pets. We clean in a manner that is safe for everyone in your home.


*special note* We can use specific cleaning products if you have a preference, but we reserve the right to choose what is best for our health. We are exposed to these products every day, and our long term health matters . We are adamant that employee health and safety comes first!


Good Communication

Getting what you want from your cleaner is all about letting them know what's important. We regularly check to see if we are missing anything. We get our kicks from knowing you are coming home to a clean house that makes you smile. Your feedback and communication are key to our job satisfaction.


All Natural

Organic, pH balanced, and environmentally friendly. In the end there are so many words used to describe earth-friendly products. The Joy Factor uses health-friendly products. Our staff use these products, so we require that they be as people friendly as possible. We use doTerra's cleaning product which essentail oil-based, smells great and works almost as hard as the cleaners themselves. Our products are good for us, you, your family, your pets and our environment.


How long will it take to clean my home?

The Joy Factor wants to work with you to ensure your home is cleaned just the way you like it and within your budget. If you want to hire us, i normally come and meet you, look at your home and together we decide on time and budget.

average 1200 square foot home cleaned regularly would be approx. 3 hrs.



Daily, weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly scheduled cleans.



  • vanity, mirrors, sink, and tub/shower cleaned and polished.

  • towel rack, toilet paper holder, and baseboards dusted

  • toilets and floors disinfected (floors are washed by hand)




  • cabinets and backsplash spot cleaned

  • all appliances cleand and polished (including hood fan)

  • kitchen windows, sink, countertops and soap dispensers cleaned, disinfected and washed by hand

  • all eating areas cleaned



Common Rooms

  • window sills, banisters, doors, door frames, fireplaces mantles, lamps, tables and pictures fully dusted

  • fingerprints removed from door handles and switch plates

  • all floors vacuumed, mats vacuumed, hardwood and laminate floors mopped and cross-checked for crumbs, foot prints and streaks



Extras (We like to do one little extra each week)

  • dust baseboards

  • spot wash walls

  • wash door windows

  • blinds dusted


Depending on the time allowed, we do extras so you don't have to.


General rules for staff

If you can lift it with one hand (lift it with two) dust under it, dust it, and replace.


Dust as high as you can reach. Staff safety is key, so there is no climbing to clean. (Sometimes we bring a step stool to help us out on extra items).


Notes Notes Notes

We love it when you leave us notes. Maybe you have family coming and you want extra spit and polish done to the guest bedroom. Maybe you made spaghetti sauce and the stove needs a good going over. Just let us know, and we will be happy to do those types of jobs for you.


Extra Time/Extra Jobs

If you have regular scheduled cleaning, but find you have a bigger job that you want to have done, please just let us know ahead of time. We can schedule an extra half hour to clean out your fridge no problem!


Move In/Move Out

If you’re a renter or an owner, you will at times need a little extra help to get the cleaning done. Contact us and we would be happy to provide a quote for what you need done.



Our staff is trained in great detail, and we are constantly upgrading our cleaning practices to be current, fast, and efficient. We use products that we provide, and staff are trained on how best to use these products. Natural solutions like lemon juice and baking soda are part of our cleaning kits.
